M&M Mars, Inc. sought to develop a portfolio of permanent merchandising vehicles in order to support their complete line of confectionery products in targeted high-volume retailers across all classes of trade. Their wide spectrum of popular and iconic brands would be marketed under the “One-Stop Candy Shop” banner. This would be complemented through the use of images featuring the award winning M&M animated characters from previous TV Media campaigns for their high recognition value among consumers to anchor the merchandising display offerings.
All the units constructed primarily of fabricated steel tube and wire and powder coated in iconic Snickers Blue. The signage panels and shelf graphics consist of printed styrene in likewise iconic, brand color treatments.
Each fixture uses fully adjustable wire shelving to allow for differences between retailer planograms and seasonal promotions as required. Multiple designs were developed and tested including end caps, counter displays and free standing island merchandisers.
