My Story
Ronald Elowitz is the co-Managing Partner for SteelHaus Creative Forge. He’s been in the design management, brand experience and product development field for 30+ years, driving innovation-focused projects and strategic creative efforts in the realms of business process architecture, NPD & product design, package development, retail innovation, quality management, customer experience & creative-focused workforce development.
His complimentary academic & professional backgrounds to bringing global brands, experiences and products to life for customers and user segments alike at global Fortune 500 companies. Applying principles of Green-sustainable design, marketing communications, process engineering, systems thinking, new product development (NPD), enterprise project management and executive level leadership skills to problem solving scenarios and white-space innovation realms intrinsic to commercial undertakings, Ron has built, defended and maintained vibrant brands – whilst driving enhanced operational efficiency, technical invention and customer engagement objectives across unique categories, segments and industries.
An industrial designer by trade (University of the Arts & Parsons School of Design), he’s worked for numerous Fortune 500 companies including Schering-Plough, Funrise Toys, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, CHANEL, Benjamin Moore & Co., Samsung Consumer Electronics, Verizon and Northwest Instruments. He's worked within many different industry segments, brands and product categories across the chemicals/architectural coatings, CPG, OTC/HBA Health Care, Toy, Luxury, Consumer Electronics, Construction and Telecom technology industries.
Furthermore, Ron has assumed many professional different roles that allowed him to participate in almost every stage of the product design and development lifecycle – including project and program management, marketing, sales & trade marketing, design, customer experience, engineering, and quality management assignments.
Ron has been awarded nine (9) USPTO Design patents in his career and possesses graduate degrees in Packaging Science Engineering (Rutgers University), Communication & Information Studies (Rutgers University), Administrative Science / Project Management Boston University) and an MS in Biological Sciences (Biomimicry for Human Design) at Arizona State University. He is currently completing his Doctorate in Business Administration at Fairfield University's Charles F. Dolan School of Business.
