Hearkening back to its original roots as a wall coatings manufacturer in Brooklyn in 1883, Benjamin Moore & Co. has earned a marketplace reputation as one the the world's top quality paint producers and color palette creators. In deference to their heritage and as a preferred brand for their customers, the Color Lab in New York City was designed as an extensive resource for the professional designers and architect communities.
The Color Lab project was conceived, designed and installed in less than 90 days. Showcasing the full spectrum of almost 4,000 colors across eight (8) unique color collections in a dedicated space, it was purposefully designed to let the color patterns take center stage and surround the visitor with an aura of infinite color possibilities for a diverse range of applications.
Color boards, natural and artificial lighting fixtures, specially designed color viewing tables, a modern visual aesthetic, multiple background surface treatments and consulting staff are intended to aid professionals in their color selection and decision making activities.
